In my recent one year commitment to better health, my doctor included this item in my health care (drug free) protocol. I saw another Adrenastim on www.ovitaminpro.com. The one prescribed for me is KR-72 and the other is KR-15. You do not need a prescription for this item. However, it is very important that you do receive counsel. 

I was excited to post this review because this item was not the easiest to figure out how to use. My doctor told me to "pump" a quarter-sized amount in the morning before coffee and then just before lunch. Looking back now, It would have been a good idea if I had shown him what my interpretation of a quarter-sized pump looked like. As it turned out, I had been pumping much less than I needed the first 5 months omg). I felt like I had wasted my efforts as I did not receive the benefit like I could have had I been using the correct amount from Day 1). After increasing the pump size, I started getting hot flashes and racing thoughts long into the night. I was actually then using too much!

Figuring out what was causing these uncomfortable symptoms was an inconvenience because I had just started several new supplements and was detoxing for leaky gut syndrome. I had to experiment with the process of elimination. It was the high amount of product along with another adrenal support supplement I had been taking that caused the hot flashing and racing thoughts into the night. We finally found the right amount and schedule.

I did not mind the slight smell but I did get a rash on my arms because I was not taking turns applying to the inside of my legs. The rash went away pretty quickly.

Just last month, the hot flashes and night sweats returned. I was a pro now at knowing how my body was reacting to this product. I emailed my doctor and he told me that my body had announced that my adrenals were now 100% happy (he didn't actually say that but it was my interpretation).

I feel more confident and less anxious after using Adrenastim. If you have adrenal fatigue, you know how easily you can go from calm to anxious. I know now when I do feel the stress coming on that I can take a moment and breathe deep, get away from the stressful situation if possible and take care of myself. If I cannot get away even for a moment I know that my body will now be able to handle the adrenaline rush which used to cause me to panic and be light headed quite easily.

Vitamin D3 by Viva Labs - TLC In A Softgel!

I agreed to accept this product from Viva Labs because this product is perfect for my husband! (Yes, I supplement with a D3 with K supplement, but I need a Gluten Free Certified supplement.) What interested me in this product was the fact that the oil which is used to suspend the D3 is olive oil. Excellent! Check. The second major bonus is no soy! Check. Thirdly (why not?), Non-GMO as advertised on the Amazon.

I would have liked to see soy free and Non-GMO listed on the bottle. Just a suggestion.

Although we live in sunny South Florida and my husband and I are always in the sun, we do use sunscreen. Therefore, my doctor has advised that D3 will be one of the few supplements we will need to take for life. And so, because Viva Labs D3 is a generous 5,000 IU in each 1 softgel - this product is a no-brainer!

Also, the price is so good. There are 360 softgels in each bottle. This is a year's worth of D3 supplementation for $12.30 + shipping ($0.00 if you have Prime). You do the math!

Island Fresh Coconut Oil - OMG!

The owner of Island Fresh - Mark Anderson blessed me with this oh so generous 54 fl oz organic, virgin, cold-pressed, non-gmo, unrefined coconut oil. The product arrived packed snugly. Anyone who complains that their item arrives leaking is honestly just simply lying! The seal was so tight as well as the cap that I had to get my husband to help out and open it and he struggled. This type of packaging ensures that this item is pure and untouched from any oxygen which would alter its freshness.

I love the simple approach this small company employs in regard to the labeling. I also appreciate the design of their website http://www.island-fresh.com/ . Good health does not have to be complicated!

The taste! OMG! Fresh coconuty, just a tad unctuous. I started out taking one tablespoon before bed. I have to tell you that my digestion (sparing you the details) has been better and I prefer this in place of fiber at night. Taking some oil before bedtime helps my liver out and is better than dessert! Google the benefits of coconut oil - guaranteed that your findings will be ala Bubba shrimp... 

I gave this oil to my dog on a dinner plate. It was gone lickety split! And I also scooped some into a glass Ball jar. Now when she sees me pick up the jar she comes a runnin'. She thinks I am going to feed it to her, but I apply it to her skin as she tends to have dry skin. As soon as I apply it she is licking it off! The benefits are twofold.

Since I have just been diagnosed with hypothryroidism (with supplementation I dodged the "Armour Thyroid" meds bullet) I was interested in coconut oil as thyroid support as mentioned on the label. 

I liked applying the oil to my hair (yummy smell), but found it was a bit too oily even after I shampooed it. However, this item is a great after shower moisturizer! I have added to a glass cosmetic jar and use it in place of expensive lotions which I have found even though gluten free, and contained wonderfully beneficial plant-based ingredients - just don't do much for my suntanned skin.

I could sing praises of Island Fresh Coconut Oil all day long long into the night. This jar has a special place in my kitchen away from heat and light. Jojoba Oil by Elrique Naturals

One ingredient but so many benefits! This carrier oil was a welcome addition to my health care regime. After recently battling a thyroid condition, my hair became brittle and started falling out by brushfuls for 5 days. Quite humbling  situation for me - a scary situation. And so, I am in the rebuilding stages of hair care and thus was quite excited to review Jojoba Oil by Elrique Naturals.

Here is what I did for this review. I call this concoction my Health Loss Help Blend: I mixed 3 drops each of Rosemary, Cedarwood and Lavender with 2 oz. Jojoba Oil. Easy to measure in a pet rubber syringe or the handy dandy measuring shot glass I keep in my bathroom. I used an amber glass container to store my oils. Shook well. Massaged into hair and scalp for 5 minutes. Left on hair for 1 hour, then washed. I will do this 1-2 times a week because it was that tingly good and left my hair squeaky clean. The frizzy brittle hair is gone. I did trim the ends of my hair before using this oil blend.

While sitting with the oil on my head, I read a book and drank a cup of coffee. The summer here in Florida is almost gone and a cool crisp wind had just come from the East. I had a grateful moment as I inhaled the oils. I detected Rosemary as the predominant scent. Jojoba oil does not have a scent but is the perfect oil to add another essential oil to it so that it can be applied to the skin.

I devised another fun way to enjoy Elrique Naturals Jojoba Oil. I have a ton of pretty powders with mica. I am referring to cosmetic grade shimmer here. I have been buying the Burt's Bees Radiance lotion but it has gotten pricey and the company has changed hands and I just decided I am not going to buy it anymore. And so, I have added the shimmer to the Jojoba Oil and am now using it as a body shimmer oil. Fun, right? The glitter stays on longer and is subtle. This oil is anything but greasy and sinks into my skin lickety split!!

SpiraLife by Lifestyle Dynamics

I couldn't wait to try this handy gadget! At first I was a bit intimidated, thinking I had to watch all the videos and go through the entire eBook. I did check out the videos on how to spiral a zucchini to make a very cool rosette with a tomato! I also gleaned quite quickly how to use the other side to make a perfectly formed zucchini spiral for yummy pasta.

I lightly sauteed the zucchini "pasta" in olive, butter and fresh basil. I added some raw garlic and a spritz of lemon juice and salt and pepper. Voila! A healthy, gluten free meal in seconds (and for pennies)!

I also sliced a cucumber and tossed it into a salad. Of course you need to cut the spirals because you could slice the entire cucumber in one try - which would end up being the length of 3 football fields! Ha Ha!

When I sliced the zucchini for the pasta replacement, I couldn't help but notice how pretty the thin edges of green were against the rest of the zuchini. If I had more time, I would use my mandoline to shred red onion finely. Adding another shaved vegetable to a salad or zucchini pasta would be great! I did use the cap in order not to waste as much of the zucchini and cucumber, but I still had a 2 inch or so stick left, which I popped in my mouth because I never ate a "pencil" before let alone one with a sharp point (you will get what I am saying once you use the SpiraLife)!

What makes this product stand out from the rest is not only the price, but it's easy to clean design. Although a very handy brush came with this product, I was able to rinse it under cold water without having to use the brush.

Scential Health Lemon Esserntial Oil: Best Spray Idea Ever!

Inhale and smile! This lemon essential oil reeks of lemony goodness! Immediately upon receiving this product for review, I headed to my garage and cracked open a box that just arrived from Ebay. I had purchased a beautiful clear glass spray bottle with a white BPA-free spray top. In it I poured 16 ounces of purified water and 10 drops of Scential Health Lemon essential oil. I headed out to my garden and snipped a few sprigs of fresh rosemary. I cut the rosemary in "itty" bits and dumped into the glass spray bottle. I was ready to spray - and spray - and spray!

I used this healthy cleaning agent for countertops, windows, doors, mirrors, floors, and the inside of the garbage can where it never smells fresh. Fingerprints on my stainless steel? Fuggettabout it (I'm from Jersey! No more fingerprints with this spray stocked and ready to spray.

Because I live by the motto, "Don't use it if you can't eat it!" I encourage others as well to make their own as it is so inexpensive and fun. I celebrate using pretty glass bottles and gadgets because with all of the money I save, I can afford to splurge a bit on useful items that are pretty as well as functional. Goodbye ugly plastic. SpiceCrafts Premium Salt & Pepper Grinder Set by LifeStyle Dynamics Inc.

A piece of art. Truly. I filled my new SpiceCrafts Premium, Salt & Pepper Grinder with Himalayan Salt and Pink Peppercorns. The cool design of this product makes it not only attractive to look at, but easy to fill and use! It took a second for me to figure out how to get the 2 wider silver pieces off the item. The caps easily came off and I saw the grinders. I know - read the directions, but I often just try to figure things out first.

I also realized that I could change the grind, which is really nice with the Himalayan salt because I do like a finer grind. You just use the black adjusting knob inside the grinder top and turn clockwise for a finer grind. The other way if you like your pepper or salt coarser.

An Ebook came with this item and if I register online, I will have a lifetime guarantee on this product. Quite impressive for a kitchen item which gets a lot of daily wear and tear!

This item was pricing far below what I would have guessed. This kitchen tool would be the perfect stocking stuffer for that person who has everything. I am going to display this grinder in my kitchen, as it is beautiful.

The only downside to this item is that it is not Made in America, which I am super big on. However, I give this one a pass because it is THAT good!

Scential Health Cinnamon Bark

Remember growing up and eating Cinnamon Hots? That is the pleasant memory that assaulted my taste buds when I reviewed this product as a mouth wash. I added 2 drops to purified water. I keep a glass shot glass in my bathroom (why not?) for mouthwash as it is the perfect size for a quick swizzle of mouthwash. The cinnamon quickly sunk to the bottom of the glass so I had to stir it first. Cinnamon is beneficial for gingivitus, or tooth infections. I have sensitive teeth and was quite impressed by how enjoyable gurgling with this elixir was! Cinnamon goodness and memories all in one!

I also added 2 drops to 4 oz of purified water to an atomizer to use as a natural bathroom spray. I love cinnamon year round but this would be a great house gift to give a hostess and a Christmas present as well. I found glass atomizers on Ebay that were quite nice and inexpensive. So much less than a commercial spray and better for you and the environment.

Because Cinnamon is a "hot oil" you cannot apply to your skin without a carrier oil and even then some people are sensitive to it. I hear it is good for sore joints and muscles. It is also a mood elevator, and so for this reason, I decided to diffuse it in my diffuser and it was heavenly! I am diffusing it now. Do you see me smiling?!

I plan on experimenting with almond oil and Epsom salts to make a bath soak. I know I must sparingly add the Scential Health Cinnamon Bark as a little goes a long way. I loved this product. I appreciate its unique properties and the generous size of the bottle. The essential oils by Scential Health are affordable and have no fillers. Reviewing this product was so enjoyable!

Perfect for two purposes! After reviewing this affordable and unique product, I realized this was the bike water bottle that I have been searching for! My husband and I often take bike rides in the early morning hours before breakfast. This water bottle is the perfect size for the water bottle holder on my bike.

But, there is a bonus with this product! A red basket suspends into the middle of the bottle for fresh fruit and herbs. I have to say, though that I removed the clear plastic holder as I like popping a stainless straw into the bottle when we stop for a drink. The red fruit holder still kept the fruit in place. If I was not using a straw to drink, I would add the clear plastic ring to prevent a berry from escaping the basket.

The second idea I had for this BPA-free 22 oz bottle was for a sippee cup! I know that sounds silly, but adding fruit to the bottle and giving to your child would be a great idea. Why not? It is dishwasher safe and if dropped, will not spill. It can be the next step toward the big boy or big girl cup!

Rosehip Seed Oil by Elrique Naturals

I started out this review targeting my skin. I applied this oil to my freshly washed face and decollete. I did not honestly notice a difference after 5 nights of using it on my skin.

However, strike up the band....because this product is a hidden "diamond in the rough" in regard to haircare! I first applied the oil directly to the ends of my dry hair. The oil was light and not greasy and the blond highlights shone through so beautifully.

I took this review a bit farther. I applied to freshly washed and damp hair. I had been looking for an alternative to the chemical laden and animal cruel products that I had previously used to keep my hair from looking curly and frizzy. I tried coconut oil and it was a disaster! Greasy and gross. 

Honestly, I am so glad that after applying 6 or 7 pumps to my entire head, I saw that my hair was not greasy, but tastefully slicked back. For some reason, this oil allowed a bit of radiance to show through and actually hid the subtle grays that I always try to camouflage as blonde!

I am very excited about this product! Also, it is cruelty free and organic. I had read another review and am interested in learning more about this oil being a carrier oil. Reviews are so important but actually using the products is invaluable!

Thank you to Elrique Naturals for making such a versatile product. Although I would rather have this product arrive in an amber glass bottle, this 2 HDPE bottle is the next best thing! I will reuse this bottle long after I have used the product as the pump is perfect not only for oils, but lotions as well.

Vitamin C & CoQ10 Age Defying Masque by Elrique Naturals

 I was very happy to be notified by HealthBiz Direct Inc. that I could take a bit more time to review this healthy yummy face masque! I took the extra time to do some experimenting. I first followed the directions on the jar. I applied a thin layer of masque onto clean skin and after 5 minutes rinsed off. My skin felt smooth and moisturized. 

However, my favorite part of using this product the first time was the scent. It was so fresh and I was reminded of a Creamsicle. I know! Call me crazy, but the color of the product jump started this thought in my head (it is truly a beautiful peach color). As I twisted the lid off, I was greeted with yummy creamsicle goodness in sight as well as smell. Draw me a bath and dump a tubload of this product in and I would be happy forever!

Back to the Practical Matter of Beauty
My next idea was to apply this masque early in the morning. I left it on until lunch. I enjoyed the sweet smell and I was able to swish a loofah across my face. The gentle buff with warm water ushered in a pretty glow - almost a mini microdermabrasion session! I loved it!

Finally, my favorite way to use this product is to apply at night before bed after a hot shower while my skin was dewy and clean. I applied to the decollete (why not, when this is a generous 4 oz jar?). I also applied to the skin on the top of my hands and then added cotton gloves. I slept in my Elrique Naturals Vitamin C & CoQ10 Age Defying Masque and I woke up happy! 

The best part of reviewing products is being reminded that the best products do not animal test, are Made in the USA  and do not contain "bad for you" chemicals! This product falls into all of those categories. You can see the ingredients at Amazon.com. 

One comment I have is that I noticed on the jar that this product is also for Hair Rejuvenation, however I saw no mention of this on the Amazon page. I will be experimenting with this Elrique Naturals product as a leave-in conditioner. After all, who doesn't want to enter a room smelling like Creamsicles!

Excruflex - Every First Aid Kit Needs This Product!

As a seeker of solely organic products, my goal is to replace everything in my life that does not contribute to the overall good health of my family and my environment. Excruflex is 87% organic content. While I would love to tell you that it is 100% organic, it is not. However, I give rave reviews of this product because it literally beats every other option I would consider for deep tissue and muscle pain and I do appreciate the 87% organic content. 

This product is manufactured in Orlando, Florida. Score one for American Made! The ergonomically designed pump is quite handy. This bottle at 4 oz. is a generous size. The gel is an orange shade and has an orange top note. Spearmint is the next essential oil that is so evident and so refreshing.

Body Mind & Health: Discovering God's Solutions for Total Health by Monte Kline, PH.D.

This anointed work by author Monte Kline PH.D was an interesting, helpful and eye-opening read from beginning to end. I appreciated Scripture throughout. I respect an author who does not merely state something as true, but refers to the Bible for Truth. Well done!

As I seem to always be on some kind of cleanse, naturally (no pun intended!) my favorite chapter was Chapter 3 Cleansing That Purifies. At a church we used to attend, every January would be Daniel Fast month. Like clockwork, the saints followed the 21-day Daniel Fast but did not take probiotics during the cleanse. Oh my goodness! I am so grateful that a friend pointed out to me why everyone was sick in bed the following month.

Yes, everyone looked quite holy and lost a few lbs. but it was a very brief mountaintop experience. Actually, 4 members under the age of 45, had to have their gallbladders removed after the 3rd diet. Toxins are now a reality as well as a decrease in digestive enzymes. Dr. Kline wisely points out so many necessities for our good health in this chapter.

My all-time favorite tip for natural sunscreen is in Chapter 5. Broccoli and Green Tea? Who knew?! D3 is so important and after reading this book, I can tell you that D3 proudly sits on my kitchen counter now.

Chapter 12 is basically an altar call. I could read this chapter every day! This chapter is so inspiring. For this reason, this book could be presented to groups of all denominations. I would pass this book along to a health conscious un-churched person. I may never get him/her to meet me at church, but I can bring church to them in Body Mind & Health!

You can find so many products and resources for healthy living in the Footnotes section. For this reason alone, this is an invaluable book for any library.

The author is all about the question. I really appreciate his provoking me to research, to dig and want to know more. I feel Christians (from my experience) tend to put western doctors on a pedestal. A doctor says to take a pill and they take a pill. A doctor says to get an operation so an operation is performed. Where is God in this decision making? More questions need to be asked. Some women in my small circle know now that I do not take drugs unless I am on life support or in extreme pain. Sometimes information is shared about an antibiotic being taken, etc. and I actually witness a hush as I begin listening. I am not judging, but I pray that Christians can take the blinders off when it comes to taking care of our temple! I know my mere presence during these chats can be slightly irritating. Oh well!

I was so excited to choose Scential Myrrh for review. Myrrh, as is Frankincense Scential Health essential oil; one of the Fourteen Principal Oils of the Bible. For an every day whole body solution for stretch marks: Mix 5 drops of Frankincense, Myrrh, Coriander or French Lavender essential oil with a carrier oil (I like Meadowfoam) and massage on stretch marks twice a day.

I also plan on making up this recipe to strengthen my nails: Mix 10 drops each of Frankincense Scential Health, Myrrh Scential Health and Lemon to 2 tbsp vitamin E oil. Mix ingredients together and store in amber glass bottle. Rub on nail cuticles twice a week. The possibilities are endless with essential oils!

ReliefMD - A Must Have Item for Every First Aid Kit!

 It was a sad day when my feral rescue cat Vespucci snake'bit my leg! Yes, all four teeth punctured my skin and I actually had to pull his teeth out of one bite hole. He did not mean it! This is his nature and I was not reading all of this communications. I was petting him when he was silently telling me to stop.

And so, ReliefMD to the rescue! The puncture holes in my leg had become infected even though I used peroxide and washed the wounds 5 times a day. When this product arrived in my mailbox, I could not have been happier. I used this product as a salve. I applied it to around the hot, inflamed areas. I did not place it on the wound. Within 4 hours, the worst bite mark had calmed down and the red heat mark around it disappeared. In about a day I only saw the bite and a brownish bruise around it.

I also followed the directions on the flyer and swiped the bottle across my upper lip before I went to bed. The euphoric blend of almond, eucalyptus, peppermint,wintergreen, camphor, spearmint and olive is a wonderfully calming blend. I enjoyed smelling it when I woke up in the morning! Yes, the scent was still quite evident. So delicious to smell!

Trusted Health Products has generously offered this product in a 2 oz amber bottle. I hate to compare a non-natural, inferior product such as BenGay to this massage in a bottle, but I did think of BenGay as I used ReliefMD. It smelled slightly similar, but so much better! I realized this comparison was not bad at all. This product is for health-conscious savvy consumers who make excellent lifestyle decisions. So tremendous to have wonderful products nowadays. Bye bye BenGay----forever!

I plan on purchasing a small glass amber bottle for my purse. I do believe having this product on hand at any time is important. ReliefMD also soothes mosquito bites, insect bites and stings. Just apply every few minutes for an hour. Just another way to avoid bad-for-you products like Benadryl that one who is allergic to bee stings (that would include me). The products of yesterday are drugs which you would have to take orally as opposed to topically. Now you can apply ReliefMD topically!
